Handcrafted Mashru Clutch Mashru weaving is an age old tradition in India.The Mashru textile was woven for Muslim communities, who believed that silk should not touch a person’s skin.The meaning of Mashru is “this is allowed.”This cotton-silk fabric is woven only in some selected patterns. Mashru Fabric has characteristic bright contrasting stripes in vibrant colours, the makers put every possible colour together in wonderful lustrous compositions.
